A Ministry of Presence

Caring for our congregation in mind, body, and spirit

Our Health Ministry walks alongside our church family with compassion, encouragement, and prayer. We help people grow in faith, build healthy habits, and care for one another. Caring for our bodies is one way we honour God and share the love and healing of Jesus Christ.

Programs include Lunch & Learns, Living Well with Chronic Conditions, Walking Together with Jesus, Fit for Christ, mental-health Bible study, health resources and support, and a planned fall health-screening clinic.

Health Ministry Team: Eva Lewis, Debbie Lane, Connie Chase, Kaitlyn Makela, and Jan Tultz, Health Ministry Leader. Everyone is welcome to participate, help with events, share health or professional skills, request prayer or resources, or volunteer with the ministry.

Health education and support

Lunch & Learns, chronic-condition resources, prayer, encouragement, and help finding local healthcare and community services.

Fitness and well-being

Walking Together with Jesus, Fit for Christ, mental-health Bible study, and upcoming preventive-health screenings.

Get Involved

Everyone is welcome

Being present with someone who is sick or dying is one of the church's most meaningful acts of love. This ministry helps ensure that members are surrounded by prayer, dignity, and human connection when they need it most.
