First Lutheran Church partners with Youth Unlimited YFC to provide meaningful programs, mentorship, leadership development, and welcoming spaces for teens and young adults in the Kingsville area.
Youth Unlimited YFC
First Lutheran Church partners with Youth Unlimited (Youth for Christ) to provide meaningful programs for teens and young adults in the Kingsville area. Youth Unlimited is a national organization dedicated to engaging youth with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
Through this partnership, our youth have access to mentorship, leadership development, and opportunities to serve their community. Youth Unlimited's trained staff work alongside our church volunteers to create safe, welcoming spaces where young people can explore faith, ask hard questions, and discover their purpose.
Programs include weekly youth gatherings, special events, summer camps, and service projects. All teens in grades 6-12 are welcome to participate, regardless of church background.

The GYM
Gathering Youth & Members in a flexible church gymnasium space
A Hub for Youth and Community Events
Our church gymnasium is a hub of activity for youth and community events.
The GYM (Gathering Youth & Members) is our church's gymnasium and multi-purpose space that serves as the venue for many of our youth activities. From pickup basketball games to youth group meetings, the gym provides a casual, fun environment where young people can connect.
The space is also used for community events, church gatherings, and recreational activities throughout the week. It's one of the most well-used spaces in our church building.

Mentorship and Leadership
Youth Unlimited's trained staff work alongside church volunteers to encourage purpose, service, and faith exploration.
High School Lunch Ministry
Jesus often fed people and showed compassion and caring for people. The High School Lunch Ministry gives First Lutheran the opportunity to do that at our local high school.

We provide free lunches for about 140 students at Erie Migration District School.

The lunch team serves at the school twice a month through the school year.

Friday mornings
The team meets to prepare the lunches on Friday mornings from 8:00 to 10:30 a.m.
This ministry fills a basic need and creates connections between local youth and caring adults from the GYM Ministry and Youth for Christ. We provide the food, and the leaders make connections, invite youth to join Friday night activities, and share the message about Jesus, who loves them.

The Anchor Youth Centre
The Anchor Youth Centre at 313 Main Street East, Unit 14 gives Kingsville youth a safe and welcoming place to connect, belong, and receive support close to home.
Led locally by Youth Unlimited YFC Kingsville, The Anchor is designed for connection with trusted adults, meaningful relationships, food, arts, sports, drop-in programming, and encouragement for youth as they navigate school, friendships, faith, and life.
